Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai Returns

When the Edmonton Eskimos take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on September 20, former Eskimos player and current WWE Superstar Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai will be in the house.

All fans who purchase tickets to the game will be entered to win one of nearly 100 special pre-game meet and greets with Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai. Tickets are on sale now – ahead of the rest of the season — starting at $34 (plus fees and taxes).

In honour of his former jersey number, 99, anyone who purchases the $99* flex-pack is entered to win one of five Eskimos jerseys, autographed by Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai. The three game tickets in the flex pack can be used for separate games or a single game of the purchaser’s choosing, including on September 20.  Season seat holders are automatically entered to win all prizing.

Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai recently returned to the wrestling ring after a successful battle against leukemia. Earlier this month, he took on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 35 and defeated “The Scottish Psychopath.”

He is a four-time WWE World Champion who won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship three times and the Universal Championship once. He has also earned titles as the United States Champion, Intercontinental Champion and WWE Tag Team Champion. After winning the Intercontinental Championship, he became the 28th Triple Crown Champion and the 17th Grand Slam Champion. Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai was named the 2014 Superstar of the Year and later won the 2015 Royal Rumble.

The former defensive lineman don the Green and Gold in 2008. He appeared in five games. Fittingly, his most notable game came against the Ti-Cats where he tied for the team lead with five tackles and recorded a forced fumble.
