Eskimos Head to Grande Prairie and Whitecourt

On April 11 and 12, the Edmonton Eskimos will be in Grande Prairie and Whitecourt to host free youth football camps, autograph sessions and meet with media.

In total, 11 schools and over 300 students will participate in the invitational youth football camps led by Eskimos players Justin Sorensen, Ryan King, Anthony Barrett and Calvin McCarty.

April 11 – Grande Prairie
Eastlink Centre, 10 Knowledge Way

  • 9: 30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Youth Football Fundamentals Camp
    Participating schools: Grande Prairie Christian School, Mother Teresa Catholic School, St. Mary School, Robert W. Zahara School
  • 12:30 p.m.  – 1:30 p.m. Youth Football Fundamentals Camp
    Participating schools: Aspen Grove School, I.V. Macklin Public School, St. Mary’s School, Harry Balfour School, Teepee Creek School
  • 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. Eskimos fan meet and greet/autograph session and Community BBQ, presented by Eastlink Centre
    Open to the general public

 

April 12 – Whitecourt
Allan and Jean Millar Centre, 58 Sunset Blvd.

  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Youth Football Fundamentals Camp
    Participating schools: Whitecourt Central Elementary, Percy Baxter Middle School
  • 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Eskimos fan meet and greet/autograph session
