Cory Greenwood Joins the Green and Gold

The Edmonton Eskimos have signed free agent linebacker Cory Greenwood.

Originally drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the first round of the 2010 CFL Draft, Greenwood opted to spend three seasons with the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs (2010-12). In 48 games, he recorded 34 tackles.

Greenwood joined the Argos in October 2014. In 22 games (20 starts), he recorded 103 defensive tackles, including a team-leading 70 tackles last season. He also recorded seven special teams tackles, three quarterback sacks and a forced fumble.
