Eskimo Defensive Coordinator resigns

(Edmonton)  The Edmonton Eskimos today announced that Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Line coach Jim Daley has resigned.

Eskimo Head Coach Richie Hall says, “Jim felt for personal reasons it was best that he step aside at this time. He worked hard to establish a solid foundation for our defense. On a personal note, Jim has played an important role in my coaching career, and it was a privilege to work alongside him this past season. We wish Jim and his family the very best in the future.”

During his long CFL career, Daley has been a head coach in Saskatchewan and Winnipeg and an assistant in Ottawa, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton.
