Acquired: Signed an extension on November 20, 2009. Originally signed as a free agent on February 16, 2009.

2009: (Edmonton) Lloyd played 15 games (15 starts) at middle linebacker and recorded 55 defensive tackles, four special teams tackles, four quarterback sacks, three tackles for a loss for eight yards and a forced fumble.  In the Labour Day Rematch TJ Hill intercepted the ball and lateraled the ball to Lloyd who ran it back 32 yards. On August 8 in Hamilton Lloyd injured his hamstring and left the game early. He was on the reserve list for the next three games. Mo was named a 2009 CFLPA All-Star. Playoffs: Lloyd started the Western Semi-Final and recorded four defensive tackles.

2008: (Saskatchewan) He started in all 18 regular season games and the West Semi-Final. In the regular season he recorded 74 defensive tackles, nine special teams tackles, five sacks, five tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles and a fumble return.

Career: Lloyd has spent his entire CFL career with Saskatchewan, originally signing as a free agent in 2006. In his three seasons with the ‘Riders he has racked up 162 defensive tackles, 16 special teams tackles, eight sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles and two fumble returns.

College/Personal: Lloyd was a four-year starter at Connecticut. He started at the middle linebacker for the Huskies all four seasons, from 2001 to 2004. His junior year he led his team in tackles with 122 and he finished his senior year with 117 tackles, 12 tackles for losses, three quarterback sacks and an interception in 12 games. He majored in psychology and was on the Dean’s List in 2002. He graduated from Mainland High School (Daytona Beach, FL) where he played football, basketball and ran track. Maurice spends the off-season in Connecticut with his two children, Jayde and Jared, and wife Kaysie.
