2012: (Edmonton) Laurent played 12 games (seven starts) and had 18 defensive tackles (three for losses), one special teams tackle, and tied the team lead with six quarterback sacks. He also played in the Eastern Division semifinal. He missed Weeks 7-10 and Weeks 12-13 with an injury. Laurent was the Eskimos nominee for the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian and was named a Western Division All-Star.
2011: (Edmonton) Laurent played 18 games (five starts) and had 19 defensive tackles, a quarterback sack, two tackles for losses for six yards, a forced fumble and two knockdowns. He also started the Western Division semifinal (two defensive tackles) and in the Western Division final, Laurent recorded three defensive tackles and a sack.
College/Personal: Laurent started 21 games at defensive tackle and nose tackle for Ole Miss. As a senior in 2010, Laurent posted 21 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks and played in the East-West Shrine Game. He majored in Criminal Justice. At McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA he was ranked the no.16 player in Georgia and the no.19 defensive player in the nation by Rivals.com. He was also on the wrestling team. He was born in Montreal, but moved to Georgia when he was 12-years-old.
