2014: In 15 games (15 starts) Young recorded 43 defensive tackles, four pass knockdowns, one interception and two sacks.
Young recorded his first interception of the season in Week 16 against Winnipeg intercepting a pass from Alex Brohm.
In the Western Semi-Final against Saskatchewan, Young started at defensive back.
In the Western Final against Calgary, Young recorded two defensive tackles.
2013: In 17 games (17 starts), Young recorded 43 defensive tackles, four special teams tackles one interception and five pass knockdowns. Young recorded his first interception as an Eskimo in Week 14 against Toronto.
2012: (Hamilton) Young played five games for the Ti-Cats registering 15 tackles and two knockdowns. He was placed on the nine-game injured list after breaking his hand two game into the season, but returned to the lineup at the end of September.
Career: Spent two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats playing in 23 games, including all 18 games his rookie season in 2011. Young made his CFL debut on July 1 against Winnipeg and recorded his first career interception that game.
Pro: Young spent time with the New Orleans Saints in 2009.
College: Young played two seasons (2008-09) at Jackson State University where he recorded 48 tackles, five pass break-ups, two interceptions, one quarterback sack and a fumble recovery. Prior to transferring to Jackson State, he played two years (2006-07) at Hinds Community College. In 2010 he took part in the Texas vs. The Nation game. He majored in financing.
