2012: (Hamilton) Young played five games for the Ti-Cats registering 15 tackles and two knockdowns. He was placed on the nine-game injured list after breaking his hand two game into the season, but returned to the lineup at the end of September.
Career: Spent two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats playing in 23 games, including all 18 games his rookie season in 2011. Young made his CFL debut on July 1 against Winnipeg and recorded his first career interception that game. Young spent time with the New Orleans Saints in 2009.
College/Personal: Young played two seasons (2008-09) at Jackson State University where he recorded 48 tackles, five pass break-ups, two interceptions, one quarterback sack and a fumble recovery. Prior to transferring to Jackson State, he played two years (2006-07) at Hinds Community College. In 2010 he took part in the Texas vs. The Nation game. He majored in financing.
