2013: (Edmonton) Rottier has started 16 games at right guard this season.
2012: (Edmonton) Rottier played nine games (nine starts). He started the first four games before suffering an injury in B.C. that forced him onto the injured list for Weeks 5-7. He was back in the lineup for Weeks 8-12 before spending the rest of the season on the 9-game injured list prior to Week 13.
Career: Rottier was taken first overall by Hamilton in the 2009 CFL Canadian Draft. He played in 44 regular season games and four playoff games during his three seasons with the Tiger-Cats.
College: During his collegiate career at the U of A (2006-2008) , Rottier was a three-time Canada West All-Star, a first-team All-Canadian (2008), and played in both the 2007 CIS East–West Bowl and the 2008 NCAA East–West Shrine Bowl. He was the first player in Golden Bear history to be selected first overall in the CFL Draft. Rottier joins former U of A teammate Gord Hinse who was taken by Edmonton in the second round (11th overall) in the ’09 Draft.
Personal: Rottier is finishing his degree at the U of A in Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences. His wife's name is Jennifer and they have a son named Townes.
