2011: (Edmonton) Hill played 14 games (14 starts) at linebacker, recording 62 defensive tackles, 5 special teams tackles, a team-leading 3 fumble recoveries, 2 knockdowns and 2 interceptions for 87 yards, including a 71-yarder against BC on July 16. He missed 4 games mid-season a shoulder injury he suffered in the Labour Day Rematch. He returned to the lineup on October 10. Hill also started the Western Semi-Final (4 defensive tackles and an interception for 26 yards) and the Western Final (3 defensive tackles).
2010: (Edmonton) Hill played 18 games (18 starts) and ended the season as the team's leading tackler with 91 defensive tackles. He added three quarterback sacks, eight special teams tackles, three tackles for losses (six yards), two knockdowns, three interceptions for 36 yards including a 18-yard touchdown, a forced fumble, and a team-leading two fumble recoveries (18 yards). TJ is the Eskimo nominee for Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
Career: Hill came to the CFL in 2007 with Montreal and posted a team-leading 80 tackles (69 defensive, 11 special teams). In 2008, Hill led the Alouettes with 87 tackles (84 defensive; three special teams) and four sacks. He was named an East Division All-Star. In 2009 Hill attended training camp with Montreal and was released on June 19. He was signed by Edmonton and finished the season tied for the team-lead in defensive tackles with 62 and led the team with four interceptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns. On Sept. 26 against Saskatchewan he had two interceptions including a 59-yarder he returned for his first career touchdown. He had another interception for a 58-yd TD on Oct 30 against Toronto. Prior to joining the Alouettes, Hill spent four seasons (2003-2006) with the AFL’s Las Vegas Gladiators. He attended training camp with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs in 2002.
College: TJ finished his college career with 245 tackles and 15 interceptions over 42 games for the Huskies. He's one of only two players in school history to receive First-Team All-Atlantic 10 honours as a junior. He majored in psychology. He attended Rosa Parks School (Paterson, NJ ), a performing arts institution, and was named the school's top student for the 1997-98 academic year. He was captain of the basketball, baseball and football teams. He also played saxophone for eight years in the jazz band. Hill acted in the movie "Invincible".
