The Edmonton Eskimos Cheer Team is proud to cheer on the green and gold throughout the season. Above and beyond the 10 home games, the team will perform at over 250 venues during the year representing the Edmonton Eskimos at community and corporate events as well as civic functions. They are truly the ultimate volunteers with the hundreds of service hours they give to the community.
From January to June, the team trains in preparation for the football season. Once the season begins, the team is featured in the halftime show of the first game, with 300 performers from the Junior Eskimos Cheer Team, the Eski-Mini Cheer Team and the Eski-Ladies Cheer Team. The Cheer Team also travels to select away games and the Grey Cup each year.
In addition to these trips, the Dance Team travels to a Dance Camp in Las Vegas in late July. This is a workshop geared toward the top dancers in North America which includes three days of intense dance training with some of the most talented choreographers in North America.
The Stunt Team travels to Anaheim for the USA College Summer Training Camp & Competition in late July. They receive three days of concentrated training from some of the elite cheer-athletes in North America and compete with some of the top college cheer teams in the United States.
