Jamie Barresi
Running Game Coordinator/Running Backs

Barresi joins the Eskimos after two seasons as Winnipeg's Offensive Coordinator. In 2009, Barresi helped turn around a struggling Bomber offence and helped newly aquired Eskimo QB Steven Jyles enjoy the finest year of his CFL career as he passed for 2,804 yards and 19 touchdowns. Last season, Jamie helped lead Winnipeg to a first place finish in the East division and an appearance in the Grey Cup.

Barresi first entered the CFL coaching ranks in 2004 as Hamilton's Offensive Coordinator. Jamie has been on the coaching staff of Hamilton (2004-05), BC (2006-07), Saskatchewan (2008-09) and Winnipeg (2010-11).

Jamie began his coaching career at his alma mater - the University of Ottawa - where he played quarterback. He served as an assistant coach from 1981-83 before going to Penn State as a graduate assistant under legendary head coach Joe Paterno from 1984-85) and later became the wide receivers coach from 1988-92. Barresi also spent time at the collegiate level at Floria (1986-87), Wake Forest (1993-2000) and University of Central Florida (2001-03).

Barresi earned his undergraduate degrees from Ottawa in Kinanthropology in 1980 and Education in 1981. He earned his Master's degrees from Penn State and Florida in 1987 and his doctorate in exercise and sports science from Penn State in 1993.
