•    A big media turn out today for the return of import wide receiver Kelly Campbell.  The Georgia Tech grad reported for training camp today but spent most of the practice working with trainers to loosen up and get into game shape.  Danny Maciocia met with the media to share his thoughts.  “I knew the call would come from him, I just didn’t know when…He’s at a good place and is ready mentally and physically.  We hope to have him ready for the pre-season game in BC.  He’s a special player and now he needs to work for it if he wants it.  It’s all in his hands now.”

•    What a catch!  That statement could be heard throughout practice periodically.  Maybe the arrival of Kelly Campbell motivated the receivers to step it up today, but whatever the case may be, these guys looked hot today grabbing virtually anything within their reach and then some.  Catch of the Day goes to Canadian receiver Andre Talbot during the last drill of the day.

•    Special Guest:  Brock Sunderland, Pro Scout from the New York Jets, was on the sidelines this morning checking out the 2010 Eskimo crop.

•    Kicker/punter Noel Prefontaine was messing around earlier this morning trying to do a backwards somersault into a hand stand.  After a couple of failed attempts, he succeeded and was rewarded by applause from the fans in the stands.
