(Edmonton) – The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the signing of free agent non-import offensive lineman Alexander Krausnick.

“Alexander is a versatile offensive lineman who shows a lot of potential,” says Eskimo Head Coach Kavis Reed.

Krausnick joins the Eskimos after originally being selected by the Saskatchewan Roughriders
in the fourth round (27th overall) of the 2011 CFL Canadian Draft. Last season, he dressed in 12 regular season games as backup offensive lineman and saw action on special teams as a short snapper. Prior to entering the league, Krausnick spent four seasons with the Calgary Dinos. He twice played in the Vanier Cup and was named a Canada West All-Star.
