(EDMONTON) – Canadian country star Dean Brody will play halftime during the Labour Day rematch between the Edmonton Eskimos and Calgary Stampeders on Sept. 7, 2012.

Brody is nominated for seven Canadian Country Music Association Awards, including best single and best video for his smash hit “Canadian Girls,” album of the year, songwriter of the year, male artist of the year, interactive artist of the year and fan’s choice.

The show is a part of Union Night at Commonwealth Stadium when the Eskimos salute the hardworking men and women of Edmonton.  Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at ticketmaster.ca or call 780-448-3757.
