(Edmonton) In November of 2010, the largest annual sporting event in Canada will return to Edmonton. The 98th Grey Cup will mark 100 years of football in a city that embraces national events.
The Grey Cup 2010 organizing committee today released ticket prices for the big game itself, the 2010 Grey Cup on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
Tickets prices range from $98.00 – $250.00 Current Eskimo Season Seat Holders and partners will receive the first chance to purchase their 2010 Grey Cup tickets when they renew their Eskimo Season Seats for the 2010 season. Each account holder may purchase their own seat(s) plus the same amount in additional seats for Grey Cup. The 98th Grey Cup tickets will go on sale to the public in the spring of 2010.
In announcing ticket prices, Rick LeLacheur and Doug Goss, Co-chairs of the 2010 Grey Cup committee, talked about rewarding the loyalty of the Edmonton Eskimo season seat holders and highlighted the importance of the game being affordable and accessible to all fans of the Canadian Football League.
Doug Goss, Grey Cup Co-chair stated “The Grey Cup is Canada’s largest annual sporting event and we want to ensure that ticket prices allow as many people as possible to participate in this event and to be a part of the biggest Grey Cup ever! Season seat holders are even being given the advantage of an extended payment plans to make it easier for fans of the big event.”
Rick LeLacheur, Grey Cup 2010 Co-chair said “The Edmonton Eskimos want to reward their season seat holders by giving them the first opportunity to buy tickets for the 2010 big event and welcome anyone that wants to become a season seat holder to get their tickets for next year and at the same time be the first to purchase Grey Cup tickets. Renew your season tickets and purchase early, then relax and enjoy the rest of the 2009 season and 2010 knowing you will be in the stadium come November 28, 2010.”
